Winter Ailments with Dolphin Clinic Essential Oils

Dry Skin

For overnight use on dry skin or skin that has been exposed to cold/harsh weather.

Base Oils:  Rosehip oil 10ml, Wheatgerm oil 10ml and Almond oil 30ml

Essential oil blend 1: Lavender 10 drops, Geranium 8 drops, Palmarosa 8 drops

Essential oil blend 2: Frankincense 10 drops, Myrrh 8 drops, sandalwood 8 drops

Blend the Base oils with your choice of Blend 1 or Blend 2.  You can choose between oils – use the same total amount of essential oils and base oils. Apply each night.


Sore Throat

Almond Oil 20ml, and 8 drops of either Chamomile OR 8 drops Lavender.

Blend Almond oil and Chamomile or Lavender and apply to the throat area as required – up to 4 times daily.  Soothing, antibacterial and immune boosting.

Ear Ache

Almond oil 10ml and 5 drops of either Chamomile OR 5 drops Lavender

Blend Chamomile or Lavender with Almond Oil and apply around the ear/throat and along the jaw line.

Pelagonium graveolens. Leaves and flowers, Steam distillation. Madagascar. Top Note

Relaxing but also mentally stimulating. Relieves nervous tension, PMS, menopause, postnatal depression and stress related ailments.  Good for aching muscles, arthritis, poor circulation and nausea.  Great in skin care.

Caution: Do not use if pregnant


Cymbopogon Martini, Leaves. Steam distilled, India.  Middle/Base Note

Skin care, cell regeneration, balancing sebum, hydrating and stimulating.  Antiseptic and powerful wide spectrum bactericide.  Acne and infectious diseases. Relaxant.


Boswellia carterii. Gum resin, Steam Distillation.  Base Note.

Anxiety, asthma, bronchitis, extreme coughing, scars, stress, stretch marks.  Good for older skin.

Caution: Avoid during the first trimester of pregnancy
